Publishing and Versioning of iDAI.field Data

This survey aims to understand better users' perspectives on the future use, sharing, publication, and citation of data managed in iDAI.field. We are particularly interested in expectations and preferences regarding data publication workflows, data citation practices, persistent identifiers (DOIs), versioning, and the reuse of fieldwork data.

The survey focuses on your opinions and expectations for future practices rather than on your current workflows. Your responses will help us identify users' needs and priorities for the further development of iDAI.field and related data infrastructures.

The questionnaire contains 13 short questions and should take about 5–10 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary and anonymous, and responses will be used only for research purposes within the CiVers project.

Thank you for taking part in this short survey conducted as part of the CiVers – Citation of Versioned Web Pages by PID project at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI).

There are 13 questions in this survey.
This survey is anonymous.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.

If you used an identifying access code to access this survey, please rest assured that this code will not be stored together with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate whether you did (or did not) complete this survey. There is no way of matching identification access codes with survey responses.
